A graduate of NYU, his most recent film, TOGBE has been screened at the United Nations Film Society Film Festival, New York Documentary Center DocShop, the Newport Beach Film Festival and the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam. It also made it’s television premiere on PBS in early 2004.
He has produced and directed television documentaries, music videos and commercials including the Emmy nominated series, “Behind the Music.” He has been nominated for the Cable Ace award and Alfred E. DuPont Columbia Journalism Award for his documentary “Postcard from Bosnia: Sheryl Crow.” His music video for the band "Grinspoon" was voted #3 video of 2003 by Rolling Stone Australia.
He has just finished post-production on his latest project, his first narrative feature film, ZOOEY, which he wrote, directed and edited. An urban love story between a prostitute and her husband that is based on an actual couple and yearlong interviews with New York City prostitutes. It was the winner of the Viewers Voice Award at Cinequest. It has also screened at MethodFest and the Tiburon International Film Festival. Zooey has also been acquired by Vanguard International for Home Video distribution to be released in October 2006. The film was shot by Brett Albright whose credits include “Ballad of Ramblin Jack” and “Naked States.” The film is being repped by Mark Litwak.
